Cara is one of the leaders heading to South Africa. Cara has been serving InsideOut for 5 years and is currently leading junior girls. This is Cara's second mission trip with InsideOut students and she is looking forward to all God has in store for the team on this trip.

If you had a "theme song" that played whenever you walked into a room full of people, what would it be?
Music is always running through my head during the course of a day. I confess, I have many “theme” songs that I play in my head for certain situations that I am in. So, to narrow it down to one song is difficult, but I think it would have to be Gods Great Dance Floor by Chris Tomlin. It’s a party for everyone!

What advice did you get that was the most rewarding? The most rewarding advice I have received to date is simple and to the point. “ Seek Gods face in everything you do, trust God in every situation you are in, take time to rest in His presence, and keep on keeping on!”
What kind of toothpaste do you use? I brush my teeth with Crest 3D white advance vivid enamel renewal toothpaste......wow! that is a lot of words for a toothpaste. I honestly just read that off of my tube of tooth paste in my bathroom.:). I really just buy whatever is eye level.
What person of the Bible do you mose closely identify with? I am so grateful to all the characters in the Bible. I would have to say during the course of my life I have identified with A LOT of them. However, in this season of my life I would say I identify to… any of the disciples in the New Testament really. It’s hard just to pick one because each day brings a new challenge and each character brings a new understanding. |
