Q&A with Gerald
What is the best/worst pick up line you have ever heard?
Great question… There are soooooo many good (and by good i mean bad) ones out there. The best are easily #Christianpickuplines. I'll go with, " Hey, before we date, you should know that I'm NIV positive (not a typo lol New International Version hahaha)!

What's the kindest act you've ever seen done? Kindest act I have ever seen done, thats hard! I work with some of the most kind hearted students I have ever met at the Y, so it's nearly impossible to choose one. I think being able to watch students give of their most valued resource, time, for the joy of others would probably take the cake. So in short, watching students give up their weekends to serve those in need.
How often do you clean between your toes? Everyday, usually take the toe jelly and make a PB&J.
Who has been the greatest influence on your Christian life and why? Finally an easy question. That would be Wes Bender, he has been a friend, mentor and boss for 10 years now. What an incredible man of God. He's a great husband, great father, great friend and great boss. He has been incredibly influential in my walk, not because we have deep theological conversations, but because I have been able to see him live life as a Christian man first hand. To watch him put the needs of others before his own, to genuinely care for other people, and to lead with so much passion has been nothing short of inspiring to me! |
