Olivia Collins
Olivia is a junior at South Forsyth High School. She has been serving as a small group leader for four years and currently leads a group of seventh grade girls. In her spare time you could find her writing or blogging or tweeting but she mostly is probably walking around her house belting out One Direction and Disney songs which isn't very punk rock, but neither is she, so hey. This is her first mission trip and she can't wait to travel across the world.

What fashion trend do you just not get? Chacos...no thank you.
What one rule did you always disagree with growing up? I never went to bed on time. I still don't.
Share the most meaningful scripture to you and whi is it so meaningful? "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." -Matthew 5:14-16. This scripture has stuck with me for a long time. It's meaningful to me because of who I was with and where I was the first time that this scripture really stuck with me; it was at a retreat and there was this kind of unsaid but very present agreement between my friends and I to be a light to each other in case we ever got lost. I think it's important that I try my best to be a light to my friends when I know that I need to be. |
